Town Of Eclectic Zoning and Planning Commission
Permits & Construction Permits
Permits are required for various types of construction within the Town Limits of Eclectic and its Police Jurisdictions. This can include new construction, renovations, moving or locating a pre-manufactured structure, electrical, plumbing, heating & air conditioning, and the placement of signs on buildings or property.
All Contractors and/or businesses MUST purchase or already have an active Town of Eclectic Business License.
Cost of Permits
Building construction, renovations, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and heating & Air conditioning permits are calculated based on the value of or the cost of the work being performed. Contact the Town Clerk for the amount.
All fees are due at the time of application. No case will be placed on the meeting agenda until the appropriate fees have been paid.
Site Plans - Permitted Use occupancies and business store fronts $50
Conditional Use occupancies and/or business, subdivisions, and new construction $100
Rezoning Application - $50 plus $6.00 each adjoining property owner
Variance Request - $50 Plus $6.00 each adjoining property owner
Appeal Request - $50.00 Plus $6.00 each adjoining property owner
Sign Permit - Includes Banners, yard signs and/or signs attached to buildings $10
Free Standing signage - pole signs, Billboard, etc. $25
