Welcome to the Town of Eclectic's web page. I am Michael 'Mike' Holton, Mayor of Eclectic. I am excited to get in office and start working for the citizens of Eclectic. My goal, in my term as Mayor, is to make the town better than it was when I took office. To accomplish this, I am working on multiple projects, but I will need the support of all the town's citizens. There are a few things that can be done that will not cost the town or citizens one cent. Let's start by having a renewed pride in our town. We have a great town with many amenities that allows us to shop here without traveling to other cities. The more we shop local, more revenue stays here in town, and the town gains help with projects such as paving roads, fixing sidewalks, and sprucing up the down town area just to name a few.
Another ideal is to keep Eclectic beautiful. That is what those who visit our town during our events and as they pass through see and form their impression of us. Let's join collectively to cut down on the litter and clean up our town. I personally believe that if together we do this, Eclectic will become a destination spot. It all starts with us as citizens of Eclectic. I will do my part to do everything I can to help the town prosper. All I ask of you is to have pride in our town, buy Eclectic whenever possible, and help keep Eclectic clean.
As a final note, I am honored and thankful to be elected Mayor of Eclectic, and I am and will continue to work for the greater good of the Town of Eclectic, the true "Star of Elmore County".
